Children's Ministries
Our Children's Ministries department is loaded with
opportunities to help your child learn more about Jesus.
Nursery
Here at North Fresno Church, we offer our nursery program, newborn through two years of age. To better serve the children (and parents) who use the facility, we try to maintain an environment that is safe, clean, and fun for your child. Your desire to bring your family at an early age to church is beneficial for them as well as for you. The more you come with your child on a regular basis, the more familiar your child will become with the nursery and feel comfortable with the attendants that serve them. We have a sleeping/feeding room with cribs and a rocker for nursing moms, an infant section with swings, play yards and toys, and a toddler section with age-appropriate toys and slides. Our nursery is available during both worship services and Sunday school and is located on the first floor of our Education Building.
Children's Church
We believe that “church” should be enjoyable as a family and we like to offer children the opportunity to experience the worship service with the family. We also know that children have shorter attention spans than adults, so we offer a Children’s Church part-way through our services. Children age 3 through 2nd grade have the option of attending Children’s Church on the 1st floor of our Educational Building. They hear a Bible story, do a craft/coloring page, play games, and lots more.
So, how does it all work? During the worship service, we’ll let you know when it’s time for the children to be dismissed for Children’s Church. In the 1st Service, they meet in Room 101. In the 2nd Service, they meet in either Room 101, 102, or 103 depending on their age. When you walk them to their class, be sure to sign them in and get a wristband. During the 2nd Service, they rotate between the classrooms, and you will pick them up in an adjacent classroom to where they started. After the worship service, you may sign them out in that classroom and return your wristband.
BLAST
BLAST is for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders during the 2nd Service on Sunday mornings. BLAST meets up on the 2nd floor of the Educational Building in Room 208. These students are dismissed during the last part of the service to enjoy a time targeted just for them. We’ll indicate when it’s time for them to be dismissed in the worship service. BLAST does not meet during the summer.
Sunday School
Every Sunday at 10:00-10:50 a.m. we have Sunday school for ages 2 and up. Each class is staffed with at least two adults, and the hour is filled with music, crafts, Bible lesson and more! The locations are listed in the weekly bulletin and we have signs posted outside each classroom for your convenience. We have classes for "2's and 3's," "4's and 5's," 1st and 2nd grade, 3rd and 4th grade, and 5th and 6th grade.
