This week’s service starts off with greetings from NFC families and moves into contemporary worship with Pastor Jamie. Pastor Connie visits our 6th grade students to congratulate them as they move into Jr. High this summer. Brian Ross preaches from 1 Peter 4 & 5, challenging us to think about “Calling or Comfort?” Our service ends with the Doxology, sung acapella by 9 worship team members all recording from their own homes.

NFC kids learn about what it means to be a witness. Pastor Connie teaches the kids Bible songs, teaches from Acts 1:1-9, and leads kids in making a “Walking Feet” craft. NFC kids share what they think a witness is, and help teach the Bible memory verse.

Today’s NFC kids’ lesson focuses on John 14:15-21, where Jesus introduces the Holy Spirit as a comforter. Bring your favorite stuffed animal to watch as Pastor Connie sings songs, makes a spinner craft, and even does some baking. Learn how to bake “Holy Spirit” cookies, with just 3 ingredients!

Join Pastor Connie for worship, a Mother’s Day craft, and a story about Peter and God’s forgiveness. There is a fun connection to Peter’s job as a fisherman, with a fishing game you can try at home. (Spoiler alert: someone gets wet in this video!)

Pastor Connie leads our kids in fun worship songs, a sheep craft, and teaches about what it means for Jesus to be our Good Shepherd. She also encourages kids to find their own space to practice listening to God’s voice.  (This may or may not involve building a fort…)
